thanks to the genius behind Wordle, I’m able to give you a fun teaser for The Season!
I’m totally in love with this little thingy…and seriously considering making t-shirts, magnets, etc. to celebrate its awesomeness. I also LOVE the words it selected out…partially because they make me think of my little book…and partially because they get my imagination going for the next one!

That is SO cool! Can you tell me how much text you entered to get that? Was it the whole book or just a couple of chapters? How fun!

hey! that’s the whole book…distilled down to 150 or so words. now that you’ve read it…see any surprises?

hi hope…thanks for stopping by!
you can actually get wordles by going to wordle.com and putting in any bit of text you like. then you can spend hours (like i did) playing around with formatting, etc. until you get an image you love!
then you can pet it until your friends think you’re crazy. not that i know anything about that.
not at all. :)

I love this, Sarah! It’s amazing!
How did you get the image for your blog? I could never figure out how to get the source code to post them….

I adore wordles–I just take random text from the internet and input it to see what happens. I wish it had been around when I was in Creative Writing, my teacher Mr. Bunce would have jumped on this as an excercise for us to make a short story or poem ‘Choose 5 words from this cloud and see what comes up!’ or ‘These are the 150 most commonly used words in a short story/novel. Can you guess what it is just from this?’
