Eleven Scandals to Start
to Win a Duke’s Heart

She lives for passion

Bold, impulsive, and a magnet for trouble, Juliana Fiori is no simpering English miss. She refuses to play by society’s rules: she speaks her mind, cares nothing for the approval of the ton, and can throw a punch with remarkable accuracy. Her scandalous nature makes her a favorite subject of London’s most practiced gossips…and precisely the kind of woman the Duke of Leighton wants far far away from him.

He swears by reputation.

Scandal is the last thing Simon Pearson has room for in his well-ordered world. The Duke of Disdain is too focused on keeping his title untainted and his secrets unknown. But when he discovers Juliana hiding in his carriage late one evening–risking everything he holds dear–he swears to teach the reckless beauty a lesson in propriety.

She has other plans, however; she wants two weeks to prove that even an unflappable duke is not above passion.

    Will you write about Allendale?

    • Sarah MacLean

Hi Alice! You are not alone in wanting Benedick’s story…and someday I hope his heroine shows her face so I get to tell it! As of right now, though, I’m at work on a new series that I hope will tide you over!

  • patti

this book was fantastic well worth the wait, I could not put it down. I am looking forward to the next series and plan on re-reading this one until winter.

  • Marigold

This book was well worth the wait! I hope you write Benedick’s story soon…

You’re stories are such are all such great read. I started reading this book and I read the whole thing in one sitting.

I love how much life and a personality your characters have. It doesn’t feel like I’m reading a romance story that I’m suppose to use as a guideline for my own fantasies, but like I’m reading another person’s triumphant tale of romance.

I’m really looking forward to your next book. I’m sure I’ll become just as attached to your new series characters as I have your current ones.

I want to second the idea (though I doubt I am only the second person to say this) that you write a book about Benedick. I’ve loved him since “Nine Rules…” He’s a great big brother to Callie and has been so sweet to Julianna (I’m not finished with her book yet) in “Eleven Scandals…” I also feel like maybe Penelope (the grape) needs a story but like I said, I’m not done with “Eleven Scandals” yet so maybe by the end of the book she has her own happy ending.

I love your Love By Numbers series!

I was never a devotee of modern romance novels (although, thoroughly enjoy the classic romance novels), thus was quite skeptical when accidently stumbled on this book. However, the title made me curious enough to try a sample, and then I could not stop. Not only I eagerly and rapidly read the book, but I also read the other two books from this series and then re-read all three of them in proper order. Your writing style is simply captivating, full of humor, suspense and of course seduction. I tried reading several other historical romance novels, but kept going back to your books, which allowed me to escape all the stress of daily life, thus I am impatiently waiting for the next book. Thank you

I just finished Eleven Scandals… and loved it! At first I wasn’t sure I was going to like Simon, but by the end I absolutely loved him. Can’t wait for your next series.

By the way, I’ll add my vote for Benedick’s story. He needs a good woman to win his heart!

  • Francesca

I adored this book. It was so compelling and the hero was so lovable. I have loved the heroine since the first book.

  • Jordan

I didn’t think any story or pairing could come close to Ralston and his Empress. Nor did I think Simon, the Duke of Disdain, could possibly be humanized enough for me to believe that he had fallen madly in love while staying true to his character. But I was wrong. Job well done. This was an excellent read and I think the best of the three. Which is odd for me since I almost never get as much fulfillment out of an author’s other books as I recieved from the first book that I read that made me first fall in love with the their writing.

  • Manu

I was dying to read Ten ways and the Eleven scandals and now, finally!, I finished both.
You write in a way that I adore, really, I love it. But in Ten ways there was something… I don’t if to tell you this… if confess… but I didn’t like very much Isabel, I’m so sorry. Especially in the end, when after the night together again she refuses Nick, but why? I thought they “made peace” during the night… I didn’t understand her there.
But I adored the second story between Lara and Rock, really. I even hoped to see more of them!

Instead I completely completely completely LOVED Simon and Juliana. The story was beautiful from the beginning to the end and I loved the characters and the dialogues and the scenes… I cannot choose my favourite, I think when Juliana says “I love you” and Simon asks her to repeat and repeat and repeat… Beautiful.
And do you know my favourite scene of Callie and Gabriel? When he stops Juliana’s dance lesson and goes crazy because Callie is dancing with Nick. I love all that scene and the scenes that follows that one. I love all that moment.

Now I have only to wait for the new series, how long it will take…
Ah, by the way, more than Benedick, I would like the happy ending for Georgiana. I really hope for her!

  • Sasha

Like everyone else I do like Benedick but I’m REALLY hoping for a happy ending for Simon’s sister.
