So, unless you have just stumbled upon the blog in your search for “Who would win in a fight, a mole or a koala,” you know that I’ve got a book coming out. Soon. Very. Very. Soon. In fact, in two weeks, exactly.
And it looks like advanced copies are trickling out to reviewers, which is awesome…but unless you’re a book reviewer, you probably won’t be able to find a copy of Eleven Scandals to Start to Win a Duke’s Heart any time before April 26th.
As my first signing isn’t until April 27th, you can’t get a *signed* copy of Eleven Scandals until then (although that event is SUPER DUPER AWESOME and will be LIVESTREAMED on the Internet…and includes ELOISA JAMES!!) *BUT* when you preorder the book (or any of Eloisa’s!) from my local Indie (WORD Bookstore in Brooklyn), it will be signed by me (or Eloisa)…before being shipped to you!
As an added treat, your package will include bookmarks and this fun “Do Not Disturb” sign, which made its debut at the RT convention last week!

I love the idea of a signed copy…usually I hit Wal-mart or Target on the release day…if not there I go home and order online at amazon…only one Bookstore where I live…so I do a lot of ordering online

I try to hit the stores a few days after release date. I live in a small town and most of our stores don’t get books in on release dates. I order on books on Amazon quite a bit!

I like the anticipation of release day and head out that day to find what I am looking for. My husband just shakes his head because he knows that on certain Tuesdays- I am on a mission! I only order online if I can’t find it.

Sometimes I pre-order, but I usually wait till I have enough books in the cart to get the free shipping.

I’m a little of all of the above. The problem with pre-ordering is if you place more than 1 item in your basket, they’ll ship separately and you get twice the shipping costs. But I do like to go to the store the day new books are released. I love that – especially when the clerk has to go into the back room and unload it!
