I love this video-it makes me laugh everytime. And yes, librarians do answer crazy questions like that!!!

what’s the weirdest question you guys have been asked??
April 22nd, 2009 at 8:03 pm
Weirdest question? Hmm..we get a lot! My co-worker was asked for the address of people in a movie because the girls dog in the movie had died and the lady wanted to send the little girl (character) a care package. Then she told us about how she sent Charlie Brown a care package, but hadn’t heard back from him yet!
We have a regular who calls about one a week wondering if we’ve heard anything from various authors about new books (usually authors who haven’t written anything in years!)
Oh and I got asked by a young boy where the pornogrpahy section was at the library! (That was odd)
I also laugh when people ask “where’s the check shelf?” and I have to say, no that means you can go find the book on the shelf today. :) It’s a fun job, that’s for sure!
