I’m currently working on Temple’s book,
NO GOOD DUKE GOES UNPUNISHED.
Look for in in November 2013!
Cross & Pippa’s story, ONE GOOD EARL DESERVES A LOVER, is on shelves now.
All my books (and series) are designed to be read as stand-alone titles. That said, you might prefer to read them in sequence. Since my goal has always been to keep characters from earlier books alive in later ones, cameos happen!

Hi I really love your books especially the first one (9 rules….) I’ve read all your books up until a rogue by any other name it was really good I kinda got emotional at the end the letter that the hero wrote to the heroin was really cute I just wanted to ask you when is the next book coming of the sequel the first rule of scoundrels
March 11th, 2012 at 2:54 pm
Hi Maryline…ONE GOOD EARL DESERVES A LOVER, Cross & Pippa’s story, will be in stores in late 2012!
March 10th, 2012 at 1:10 pm
I’ve just finished “A Rogue.” There is such a difference in the novels that are written with an obvious strong foundation in history so that the ladies can somewhat “realistically” step outside of the box of what is expected of them. Then there are the engaging/surprising interactions. And of course, I love the series as well – when we can revisit familiar characters within a new story I only have a handful of favorite authors – and you are getting added to the list. Please, keep ‘em coming!
March 11th, 2012 at 2:55 pm
Thanks so much, BJ! So happy you enjoyed!

how many books in the love by number series?
June 12th, 2012 at 12:31 pm
I’ve just finished “A Rogue” and see that Pippa’s story is in the works….when can we expect something on the mysterious Chase??? He sounds divine!
June 17th, 2012 at 12:49 am
Hi I would like to know if you consider to writea book about benedick the brother of callie
July 8th, 2012 at 9:34 am
Hi,
Does true love really exist??? Seems all like drivel in the face of today’s reality. I’ve read all your books and wish that I could find my hero, but till now, at 28, it still seems like a wasted effort.
July 11th, 2012 at 3:05 am
Just finish reading A Rogue. And all I can say is…. Wow! It’s perfect! I’ve read Nine, Ten and Eleven too. And can I say that I’m looking forward to Pippa’s book with Cross! *squeals* Also will Benedict have a book of his own? Chase and Temple too? I think Olivia and what’s his name? Will they have their own book too? Congrats Miss Sarah! :two thumbs up:
July 14th, 2012 at 8:44 pm
I love your books!! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see one on Benedick!!!!!!
July 23rd, 2012 at 12:39 am
Hi Sarah. I just wanted to say I love the season it was the first book I read by you. And I continued to go and read the love by numbers books. Eleven scandels by far was my favorite the way you described Juliana and Simon’s love was amazing and kept me wanting more. These books should be movies they are so great. Do you plan on making more love by number books? I hope you do because I’d like to know more about the 3 siblings. Anyways thank you so much and you are very talented. Never stop writing:)
July 31st, 2012 at 12:24 am
I just wanted to let you know that I absolutly LOVE your books and and almost ready to start A Rogue By Any Other Name. I just had a question and was wondering if you would be able to answer it for me. From the first book, I fell in love with Benedick and was wondering if you were going to write a book with him finding true love! I hope so because he deserves it!!!
July 31st, 2012 at 7:25 pm
Mrs. Maclean,
I read THE SEASON, and absolutely ADORED it. Very detailed, great ending. It was such a wonderful ending, but I was still upset when I finished it because….. it ended!!! And I wish that there would be a follow up story with Alex and Gavin’s wedding and the rest of their life…. :( And I was also expecting one of Alex’s brother to fall for either Ella or Vivi… But who knows, you might write a story for each one of them too??? Really loved it! And will read your adult novels soon!
August 5th, 2012 at 12:46 am
I absoulutely love your books! I’ve read every one but “A Rogue By Any Other Name.” I plan to though, I can’t get enough of your writing! But just HAVE to write about Allendale!!!! I want to know more about him! We only see some of him though out the series, but the parts I know I adore! It proves how amazing a writer you are! Not many authors can get readers to connect with the side characters, as well as the main ones. It’s a two for one!
August 29th, 2012 at 11:27 pm
Hi
I just finished your love my numbers series. I really enjoyed them!!! The characters are so likable. I know I will be reading them again soon. Thank you!!
September 13th, 2012 at 6:30 pm
Love your books read all four in a week. Can’t wait for the next one. Just might be me but could Chase possibly be a female? Just wondering- Could make for some excitement.
September 14th, 2012 at 1:35 am
I have just finished reading Eleven Scandals and I am extremely happy with all three siblings stories. You are a creative and unique writer. I am so excited to continue reading you work! I have to ask, do you have any intention of making a novel or novella for Georgina?
September 15th, 2012 at 4:09 am
I love love love your books and the story of Juliana and Simon had me in tears! I think it’s my favorite of yours so far. I was also wondering if you’d ever thought about writing the story of Benedict and his fall into love?
October 18th, 2012 at 10:09 am
I absolutely love your books!! My favorite is Callie’s and Gabriel’s story. Actually, I love all of the Love by the Numbers books–all on my “keeper” shelf. When will Benedick have his own story? I could easily fall in love with him myself…Thank you for all your wonderful works! Keep on writing! :)
November 9th, 2012 at 7:33 am
“A Rogue . . . ” I can’t get it out of my head that Chase is a woman, never referred to as “he” and the others comment about access to “the other side” and Chase’s control of it.
November 14th, 2012 at 2:08 am
Just finished eleven scandals. What a great book! I would love to read a book with a happy ever after for Georgianna.
November 18th, 2012 at 9:53 pm
I just read and finished A Rogue by Any Other Name and it was great. I couldn’t wait for the next one and I couldn’t put the first one done. I super glad a randomly got this book from the library!
November 21st, 2012 at 9:57 pm
So happy you enjoyed it, Crescent!
November 18th, 2012 at 10:01 pm
Question: the Epiloque in A Rogue by Any Other Name is when Michael writes a letter to Sexpence. Is that before they meet up?
November 21st, 2012 at 9:56 pm
It’s dated, I think, Crescent…but if not, the letter is the last in the series, Michael wrote it after the end of the book.
November 19th, 2012 at 7:11 am
Michael and Penelope grew up together so the letter was general correspondence between them starting when he was sent to Eton
November 19th, 2012 at 7:13 am
I beleive that that letter was sent after the final chapter, check the date
November 27th, 2012 at 5:40 am
I just wanted to say that I’ve followed your books since The Season and I’ve always tried to buy them the day they come out! I love your books and your writing, and cannot wait to hear Cross and Philippa’s story!
P.S. is there any chance for Benedick to find love?
February 10th, 2013 at 1:26 pm
No plans for Bendick any time soon, Jasmine. Thank you!
December 5th, 2012 at 5:09 pm
have read them all and just loved them. can’t wait until chase’s , cross and temple’s stories come. oh and what about benedick. he needs his story too.
December 6th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
Hi Sarah, I have just discovered you, and have finished reading three of your books within a week! Just finished reading Rogue. Well done on the letters. They were all funny and witty and sad towards the end. If only Juliana Fiori could read those letters by Penelope, she wouldn’t have called the latter the Grape then!
February 10th, 2013 at 1:27 pm
You’re so right about Juliana and those letters, Dilla!
I think Penelope & Juliana would have been friends in a different reality…for sure!
December 25th, 2012 at 5:53 am
I was very pleased to find this great site. I need to to thank
you for ones time for this particularly wonderful read!! I
definitely liked every little bit of it and I have you saved to fav to check out new
stuff on your site.
December 31st, 2012 at 5:58 pm
I hope that you will consider putting more of your books in audio format. I absolutely LOVE A Rogue by Any Other Name and crave more of them on my iPod.
January 28th, 2013 at 12:39 pm
I’m gonna pick Bourne…his was the first book of yours that I read and needless to say, I’ve fallen in love…can’t wait for tomorrow’s release…as well as digging into some of your other ones!! Love, love!
January 29th, 2013 at 7:42 pm
Just finished my autograpehd copy of One Good Earl. (Xmas gift from my ‘handsome rogue husband’). I’ve found yet another captivating story by Sarah! I have read every book so far and find I can’t put them down. One Good Earl kept me up late last night because I had to begin it once it arrived in the mail! Love Pippa and Cross! Although so far, Bourne (A Rogue by Any Other Name) is my favorite so far– Really looking forward to stories for Temple and Chase!! Thanks and keep writing!
February 10th, 2013 at 1:25 pm
Thanks for reading, Tricia! xo
January 31st, 2013 at 12:38 pm
I’ve read all except the newest and the YA
February 4th, 2013 at 5:17 pm
I Loved “A Good Earl Deserves a Lover”. Its #2 by far with my most favorite being “Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake”. I could not put it down. One of the Best I’ve read. Thanks
February 10th, 2013 at 1:25 pm
Thank you, Cassandra!
February 10th, 2013 at 6:21 am
Will Lavinia (Cross’s sister) have her own book? Maybe with Chase as her second husband? Wouldn’t that be devine? I just loved her and are wondering about the ever elusive Chase? Thanks for any reply
A fan from switzerland
February 10th, 2013 at 1:25 pm
Hi Susi,
I don’t have any plans for Lavinia to be her own heroine. Aside from her still being married, she’s a very sad, very angry woman, and I’m not sure she’d be open to love at all.
That said, I guess never say never!
xo
February 16th, 2013 at 4:14 am
has thought about doing a book on Benedick’s brother Calpurnia? I would like to know
February 18th, 2013 at 10:31 am
sorry did not read the comment above, that at the moment there are no plans for Bennedick, and books and philippa penelope, when translated into Spanish?
February 22nd, 2013 at 11:59 am
I have read all your books and love them. Eleven Scandals is one of my all time favorite books. I have taken to buying your work on pre-order because I can’t dare to miss anything you write. I am loving the new series and was so pleased to know the rest of Penelope’s story. My first MacLean novel was Nine Rules and I often wonder what happen to Benidict… maybe someday.
February 24th, 2013 at 8:23 pm
Hi Sarah!
I enjoy reading your books. Can’t wait for the next one.
-Julie
February 28th, 2013 at 9:39 pm
Just read A Rogue By Any Other Name. Enjoyed it VERY much. I read a review of it by author Ilona Andrews. Her review was spot on. I will be buying more of your books. :-)
March 19th, 2013 at 12:48 am
Do you plan to write about lord benedick? He’s soon sweet and charming!!
March 19th, 2013 at 4:39 am
Hi, Sarah! I soooo love your books. I’m pregnant and reading your books is one of the reasons why I have a happy pregnancy. Can’t wait for No Good Duke Goes Unpunished. God bless! :)
March 27th, 2013 at 5:43 am
Hi Sarah
I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed Pippa and Cross’ story – I was fortunate enough to obtain an ARC and reviewed it in lots of places :)(Here’s one.)
I see that the audio version is available in the US – but sadly not in the UK. Have you any idea when/if I’ll be able to get my eager hands on a copy?
In the meantime, congrats on the success I’m sure “One Good Earl” is enjoying and here’s to the next in the series.
March 27th, 2013 at 10:11 am
Thanks so much, Caz! I’m so happy you enjoyed the book.
To my knowledge, there is no UK audio version (at least Piatkus, my UK publisher, has never told me that there is a UK audio edition). I’m sorry! But hopefully it won’t be long before there are audio books in the UK.
March 27th, 2013 at 10:37 am
No, thank YOU for such great reads :)
Shame about the audio. “Rogue” is available here, so I’ll just have to keep my fingers crossed and keep checking Audible.
April 3rd, 2013 at 3:56 am

May 8th, 2013 at 7:23 am
Just seen the art work for the 4th book in the Rules of Scoundrels Series. The name and cover gives it away and it’s what I thought about Chase!
May 27th, 2013 at 5:09 pm
I am new to historical romance…and I absolutely love it! I have read everything by you in the last two weeks (due to a recommendation) and I anxiously await Temple’s story. I agree with another post, though, I would like to see Benedick or Georgiana have a story since you continue with the same characters. It makes me feel like I am part of their circle with the interwoven story lines. Keep writing!!

I just finished reading One Good Earl Deserves A Lover today, and I read A Rogue By Any Other Name just a few days ago. Needless to say I can’t wait until tonight when I will start on No Good Duke Goes Unpunished. I love these books and only hope I won’t have to wait long to read Chase’s story.
