The Season

Alexandra Stafford and her two closest friends, Vivi and Ella, weren't much looking forward to the London Season of 1815...but, between dress fittings, glittering balls, a murder that only they can solve, and the little fact that Alex's heart is very much in danger of being stolen...this is one season that is shaping up to be unforgettable!

Hey Brooklyn!!! Get Yer Signed Copies!!!

So...Eric and I just took a walk to our local Barnes & Noble...where I did my first official authorial act (well, second if you count writing a book)...I signed stock. There were three copies of The Season on the New for Teens table...and a very nice bookseller tolerated my squeeing and let me sign the stock there. So...if you're in Brooklyn...stop by the Park Slope B&N and pick up your very own autographed copy of The Season!

Of course, Eric took a photo!

Also...had to share this one...note Mt. St. Twilight in the background. Seriously. Like 150 copies of Twilight in every imaginable version! You can barely see The Season (third row, on the end) Someday I shall have a heap of books like Stephenie.

Labels: spot the season, the season

Thanks Cecilia! (Confession: I practiced to be sure I wouldn't mess any books up!)

Apparently Twilight is VERY BIG in Brooklyn. :)

Oh! how awesome. What a tremedous feeling of joy that you must feel to see your "baby" out on display.

I am very happy for you, and I also want to let you know that I will have a review for your book on my blog this week. I am still so happy at having won The Season, but a little bit of drama has occured at work. Can you believe that someone broke into my company's data base and sole over 29,000 employee's identities so yeah...I am a bit distracted (because I am one of ones affected).

Thank goodness that your novel has kept me distracted in such a good way :)

Um, aren't you supposed to be writing 6000 words today? Is that 6000 words on the blog or on your book? ;) You're awesome! That's so cool. I would totally be doing the same thing!

That photo of Mt. Meyer is hilarious!

I'd walk up the street tonight and get a signed copy, but I bet they're sold out already! Congrats, Sarah.

Hey, gonna be taking another pic of The Season tomorrow, but there are 3 copies in my local bookstore in Lynchburg, VA! :) I saw them today!

Congrats on the signage, and jeez louise, that's a big tower of Twilight books. Can you imagine having to put that together?

Hey all...yes...the signing of the books is a pretty awesome feeling...and while i feel totally dorky about posting pics, i know you'll all forgive me! And thanks for the compliments on the signature...my goal was not to deface property. I'm happy you all think it adds to it!

Ravenous Reader: OMG! I'm so excited (and tres nervous) to hear what you think! But UGH what an AWFUL THING to have happened! Is everything taken care of now? Did they flog the people responsible?

As for Mt. St. Twilight, yes...it's as big as it seems. And I covet it for myself. :)
